Welcome! I'm Derek Lin, a dedicated real estate professional with a deep-rooted passion for the Bay Area. Born and raised in San Jose, my knowledge extends beyond local boundaries to encompass the vast and diverse Northern California market.

My analytical prowess in real estate comes naturally, underpinned by a strong technical background. Holding bachelor’s and master’s degrees in industrial engineering and operations research from the University of California, Berkeley, I seamlessly blend data analysis, optimization, and project management skills to help my clients make informed decisions. Additionally, I continue expanding my knowledge through certifications such as the InterNACHI® Certified Professional Inspector®.

Having experienced both the solitude of desk work and the dynamic environment of a technology consultant, I discovered my true calling lies in building collaborative relationships and devoting exceptional service to clients. When I'm not immersed in real estate, you'll find me indulging in my love for sports and dining. A passionate hockey player since my youth, I also follow football, tennis, basketball and baseball.
